The following is a recap of the live broadcast provided by Salesforce entitled The Road to Dreamforce. The broadcast focuses on a different topic of discussion every week and the most recent episode that was aired on July 14, The Road to Dreamforce crew gave us more information about how industries and customer success are going to be highlighted at the conference. Be sure to tune in on Tuesdays at 11:00am to catch a new live broadcast every week to help you prepare for Dreamforce. Thousands of people are expected to be at Dreamforce 2015, which means business professionals from a wide variety of industries will be in attendance. With so many attendees from different verticals, Dreamforce took a new approach this year to be able to cater to industries and customer success, all in one, unified experience. For Dreamforce 2015, Salesforce has combined the Industry Zone and Customer Success Showcase into one, which will highlight the top industries utilizing the platform and pair them with notable customers, in order to provide the best answers for attendees who want to learn more about how the platform can help their specific industry with real-world examples and feedback.
What to Expect For Customer Success and Industries
The Customer Success Showcase will highlight top industries such as financial services, healthcare & life sciences, retail, consumer goods, manufacturing, and the government & public sector. To help illustrate the benefits of the Salesforce platform, customers from each of these respective verticals will give their own perspectives and stories on how they use the platform to their advantage and which solution sets impact their industry the most. In addition, attendees will have the opportunity to interact with the customers and other partners during this time – so this is the perfect opportunity to ask the very detailed questions related to a specific industry. Attendees and customers will be able to engage and interact and most importantly, hear stories from their own unique industry from people who are using the product themselves. In addition, Dreamforce is bringing back the Success Services Group due to popular demand. There will be over 3,000 experts that can help current customers for any support issues, maintenance, consulting, architecture or training. Circles of Success will also be introduced – interactive sessions between customers and specialists to discuss specific topics, detailed topics, and provide informative sessions.
Wait… There’s More – A Customer Success Theatre, Retail Store Tours & More
There will also be a Customer Success Theatre where over 60 partners will be in attendance to talk about their own successes in a TED talk-like fashion that will cover in-depth topics. With a capacity of around 150 people, the theatre will be packed and is set up to be extrmeely interactive with an emphasis on a Q&A format between attendees and customers. There has also been a teaser of celebrity sneakers who will be taking the stage at the theatre, but nothing yet has been officially announced. Also new this year to highlight industries are hosted store tours that will take attendees inside Macy’s, Bloomingdales, Suit Supply, and a pop-up store for Toms. Guests will be able to hear the stories of how these retail companies use the Salesforce platform for their business, but also enjoy the chance to be able to shop and receive discounts. – If you are looking for answers revolving around your particular industry, Dreamforce will have you covered with the perfect opportunities to ask questions, network with people in your field, and be able to see firsthand how Salesforce solutions can cater to your vertical.
