One of the world’s largest manufacturers of jet engines for commercial and military aircraft has selected Apttus for their enterprise-wide Configure-Price-Quote (CPQ) solution. A key requirement of the Services group, responsible for providing the maintenance and service of aircraft engines, was a solution that would allow the majority of their complex quotes to be compiled by Sales without involvement from Engineering or Product Management. Also critical was the ability to execute on complex approval and pricing rules across several time zones as well as the need for content reviews from varied and multiple groups in parallel.

Using Apttus’ Advanced Workflow and Approvals engine, the CPQ solution will deliver a simplified product configuration and pricing interface and the ability to include multiple products and services in a single quote. Apttus CPQ enables speed and regional empowerment with increased visibility into the entire sales process globally – all completely inside the Salesforce CRM. Anticipated benefits from improved efficiencies include a reduction in the backlog of pending business with increased productivity from Engineering and Product Management groups.
