This week, Apttus is at IBM Think 2018, IBM’s flagship conference being held in Las Vegas. Apttus is a proud sponsor of IBM Think 2018 and excited to have an opportunity to rub elbows with over 40,000 members of the IBM ecosystem. Earlier this year, we announced that IBM had made a strategic investment in Apttus and our new partnership to deliver AI-driven Quote-to-Cash and Contract Management solutions to IBM’s global customer base. Judging by the staggering number of AI-related keynotes, conversations, and sessions at IBM Think 2018, it’s obvious that the appetite enterprises have for all things AI has exploded. If you haven’t seen yesterday’s blog post, it’s well worth a read and illustrates how prevalent AI has been throughout the conference.
Since announcing our partnership with IBM, we’ve been busy working to integrate IBM Watson capabilities with Max, our Applied Artificial Intelligence (AI) that enables enterprises to achieve superior business outcomes. Max can now use Watson to provide the AI needed to process, understand, and respond dynamically to natural language commands given by users, as well as Watson machine learning technology to orchestrate the right set of actions. When showing IBM Think 2018 attendees how Max and Watson works together, it is triggering discussions about all kinds of potential use cases such as delivering intelligent e-commerce experiences to optimizing contract terms via text message.
Earlier this week, it was announced that Max has won the SILVER Stevie® Award for Innovation in Sales – Technology Industries. The Stevie Awards for Sales & Customer Service are the world’s top honors for customer service, contact center, business development and sales professionals. The winner of the GOLD Stevie Award for Innovation in Sales was IBM Watson Incentives Cognitive Chatbot. It’s telling that the top two winners in the category are AI-related. We expect this trend to continue for the foreseeable future.
