Microsoft Ignite

Microsoft Ignite, the annual conference hosted by Microsoft, dedicated to all things all things for business executives and enterprise IT took place last week. If you were unable to attend, here’s a quick, 2 minute recap of some of the cool happenings.

Community

The Microsoft Community was well represented at Microsoft Ignite with Community Central being a place to meet and network with fellow attendees. Microsoft devoted an entire wall to their MVPs, listing out everyone by name, and those attending were able to sign the wall.

Women in Business and Technology

Specific attention was paid to women in business and technology. There was a lunch-and-learn leadership panel, and daily sessions in the Women in Business and Technology lounge at Microsoft Ignite.

Microsoft Azure

Azure must be a big deal. There was a whole day devoted to it in Community Central featuring specific talks on Azure, a community white board wall for all to share what Azure means to them and how best to get started with it.
