Apttus has developed an entire native interface between a document and its interaction with Salesforce. This technology allows for the document to essentially become the User Interface for salesforce.com. A user can be operating in the document with functions inside the document being pushed into Force.com. The result, users don’t need to go into Salesforce but can stay in the Word document entirely with interaction to Salesforce as if the user is inside salesforce.com.
