Every year Dreamforce attendees get super excited to hear which band will be playing at the Gala. This year, as we all know, it’s U2. What people often forget about, however, are the other, smaller bands that will be playing throughout the event. As a result, most attendees miss out on some of the best music performances of the week.
In previous years, Dreamforce bands have been amazing – I’ve been attending for 10+ years and the list of bands never disappoints. It’s included Train, INXS, Foo Fighters, Neil Young, Alannis Morissette, Black Crowes, Stevie Wonder, Will.I.Am, Metallica, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Gary Clark Jr., The Beach Boys, MC Hammer, Green Day, Blonde, Bruno Mars, John Legend, Huey Lewis and the News, and more.
Oh, and some may say they have heard Snoop Dogg played last year, but it was just rumor. He cancelled.
But the list doesn’t just stop with the list of bands that Salesforce brought in. Many of the partners host amazing performers, which in past years have included Big Bad Voodoo Daddy, E40, Grace Potter, Jermaine Dupri, Cake, and much more.
Dreamforce 2016 Music from Sponsors
This year, the sponsors of Dreamforce 2016 are bringing in some great acts. These bands are:
Daughtry – Headed by Chris Daughtry – a previous finalist on American Idol – and with two #1 albums to their name, Daughtry will be performing at the Radius VIP Grand Prix Party.
Flo’rida – Starting Thursday at 9:30pm, best-selling artist Flo’rida will be performing at the Pardot B2B Marketer’s Bash. Be sure to register and not miss your chance for such an exciting show.
Hobson – Be sure to catch Hobson performing at the RollerDisco Party sponsored by AdRoll and G2Crowd.
PopRocks – Sponsored by Salesforce and Carahsoft, Poprocks (claimed to be the most interesting band in San Francisco) will be performing at the Terra Gallery on Monday, Oct. 3rd.
Wonderbread5 – Join the San Francisco based cover band Wonderbread5 for the Dreamforce Jam Charity Concert on Thursday, October 6th at the Barbarossa Lounge.
Apex & The Limits – Maybe the most exciting, and definitely the most relevant, on the list, this band made up entirely of Salesforce Admins will be playing on Tuesday at the Dreampark at 6:00pm.
More Music at the Dreampark
In addition to the bands listed above, attendees will be able to rock-out to more than 27 bands playing in the Dreampark everyday throughout the concert. Go out and relax on the astroturf while listening to some great entertainment. Below is a list of some of the bands that will be making an appearance at the Dreampark this year.
Want to get pumped up for the event? Salesforce has created an official Dreamforce playlist on Spotify to get you excited for Dreamforce 2016. So go practice your dance moves, and be sure to catch some of the great bands, in addition to U2, that will be performing at the conference this year.
