Apttus announces Apttus X-AuthorTM for Chatter. Solution delivers dynamic interaction between Microsoft Office, Chatter and salesforce.com
Apttus' patent pending technology allows for custom ribbons embedded in MS Office documents to enable intelligent interaction with Structured Data Systems. The technology allows for all activity in an MS Office document to be shared and fully recorded inside any structured database application.
Specifically for salesforce.com customers, MS Office documents now have Chatter fully embedded allowing for easy collaboration, completely inside the Office document. Users can work in their familiar MS Word application whilst being fully connected to Salesforce and Chatter. Apttus X-Author brings Chatter to every Microsoft Office User in the Enterprise. Apttus socially enables all Microsoft Office users with Apttus X-Author for Chatter.
