While there are a growing number of sales tools to choose from, sales teams looking for sure ways to accelerate closing cycles and deliver better customer experiences find that investing in quote-to-cash solutions with e-signatures is a perfect place to start. Earlier this month, we were excited to announce a new integration between Adobe Sign and Apttus for Microsoft Dynamics. The integration, planned for a late June release, will allow customers to send contracts and agreements for signature from any device and at any time within Apttus Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM) software in Microsoft Dynamics.

Contracts and agreements have traditionally been mired in inefficient, error-prone, time-consuming processes that create less-than-ideal experiences for customers, sales reps, legal departments, and other functions. On the heels of this new integration, I wanted to talk about how better, more streamlined signature experiences will help customers spend less time building, delivering, and chasing contracts for signature – and more time creating value in their organizations.

Creating a great signing experience – for everyone

Traditionally, finding attachments for the contract, sending the contract, and following up on signatures has taken days, weeks. Improved signature workflows can now complete those activities in a fraction of the time. Many of our Adobe Sign customers say they’ve reduced the signature cycle by more than 90%.

Using the Adobe Sign and Apttus/Microsoft Dynamics integration as an example, customers can simply choose or create a new document like a contract, SOW, or NDA in Apttus CLM. It takes just a few clicks to choose the documents that need to be signed, the signature recipients, how often they want to remind recipients about signing the contract, and even the order of signatures. Once the contract and related documents are sent for signature, they can easily check the status of signatures and approvals via a single dashboard. And their clients love the streamlined experience. They can sign anywhere, at any time, on any device.
