Dreamforce, a Salesforce event in 2017

The new year brings many things…in some parts of the world, it means cold and snowy weather, while is other parts, it means hot weather. Regardless of the weather, and where you are in the world, there are plenty of Salesforce and regional community-led events to get excited about. In fact, there are Salesforce events for all seasons! Below you will find a complete guide of the must-attend Salesforce and Salesforce Community events to be held in 2017.

January and February

Tahoe Dreamin’

Tahoe Dreamin’ is January 20 & 21, 2017, at Harrah’s Lake Tahoe, in beautiful South Lake Tahoe. Tahoe Dreamin’ is a community-led event featuring a keynote address by Sarah Franklin, Senior Vice President, Developer Relations & General Manager, Trailhead at Salesforce, along with several breakout sessions for Admins and Developers from awesome community people including Bonny Hinners, Ryan Headley and Shannon Howe. It’s a full day of Salesforce knowledge followed by a day of fun in the snow! Check out all the great photos from Tahoe Dreamin’ 2016.

London’s Calling

London’s Calling is February 10, 2017, at Skills Matter | Code Node in London, UK. London’s Calling is a community-led event featuring a keynote address by a soon to be announced Salesforce rock star, along with breakout sessions from the likes of Louise Lockie, Richard Clark, Gaurav Kheterpal and more! A Very Busy March

Snowforce

Snowforce is March 2 & 3. 2017, at The Depot in Salt Lake City, UT. Snowforce is yet another community-led event featuring addresses by Peter Coffee, Vice President, Strategic Research at Salesforce as well as Wade Wegner, Vice President, Product – Salesforce DX at Salesforce. along with several breakout sessions yet to be announced!  For a recap of what you missed at Snowforce 2016, check out the blog post by Salesforce Admin Evangelist, Mike Gerholdt.

Destination Success

Salesforce University’s Destination Success comes to Las Vegas, March 6 – 10, 2017. Destination Success features over 100 hours of expert-led training, nine different learning tracks for five different Salesforce roles, and multiple certification exam opportunities.

Salesforce World Tour Amsterdam

The Salesforce World Tour Amsterdam is March 9, 2017, at Amsterdam RAI. Like all Salesforce World Tour events hosted by Salesforce, this one will feature a keynote address with a Salesforce executive and a few special guests, a cloud expo, as well as breakout sessions and a networking happy hour.

Punta Dreamin’

Punta Dreamin’ is March 10 & 11, 2017, at Hotel Conrad, Punta del Esta, Uruguay. Punta Dreamin’ 2017 is a first year, community-led event specifically for the Latin American community. Punta Dreamin’s call for speakers is open, and no session or speaker details have been announced yet. Check out the awesome promotional video about Punta Dreamin’.

Salesforce World Tour Hannover

The Salesforce World Tour Hannover is March 20 to 24, 2017, at CeBit Hannover in Hannover, Germany. It’s like all the Salesforce World Tour events hosted by Salesforce but it takes place inside another awesome event, CeBit Hannover, so it’s bigger and better, and chock full of Salesforce goodness. Be sure to stop by the Apttus booth in Hall 9! Take a look at what you missed if you did not attend the Salesforce World Tour at CeBit 2016.

Salesforce World Tour Sydney

The Salesforce World Tour Sydney is March 21, 2017, at the International Convention Centre in Sydney, Australia. Like all the Salesforce World Tour Events hosted by Salesforce, this will feature inspiring keynotes, powerful breakout sessions and great product demos. Register now to stay up to date on all the details.

Southeast Dreamin’

Southeast Dreamin’ takes place March 30 & 31, 2017, at the JW Marriott Buckhead in Atlanta, GA. This is the second year for this great community-led event. Southeast Dreamin’ is looking for speakers as well as event sponsors. More details about the event will be announced as they become available.

April and May

Salesforce takes its World Tour events to Washington DC, on April 4, 2017, and Toronto, Ontario, Canada, on April 20, 2017. Follow Salesforce on Facebook and Twitter for the latest event details.

5th Annual Higher Ed Summit

Salesforce.org and The University of Texas System, co-host the 5th Annual Higher Ed Summit at the Hilton Austin, Austin, TX on April 27 – 29, 2017.

Accelerate 2017

Apttus brings the Quote-To-Cash event of the year, Apttus Accelerate, back to Pier 48, San Francisco, on May 2 – 4, 2017. Accelerate promises to be a great event filled with amazing keynote and breakout sessions, along with some fun. Check out what you missed if you did not attend last year!

Texas Dreamin’

Texas Dreamin’ comes to the Driskill Hotel in Austin, TX, on May 11 & 12, 2017. The first ever, Texas Dreamin’ is a community-led event, and promises to be as exciting as all the other community-led events. They are currently looking for sponsors and will be opening registration soon. Watch Facebook for details.

 
Salesforce takes its World Tour to London, UK, on May 18, 2017. Take some time between sessions to visit the Apttus booth! Salesforce also takes its World Tour to Boston, MA, on May 31, 2017.

June through August

What used to be known as Salesforce Connections is being merged with Dreamforce and the World Tour event series. The previously scheduled 2017 Connections event, which was to take place in Chicago, IL, June 13 – 15, 2017, is now a free, World Tour event taking place in Chicago, IL, June 15, 2017. Salesforce explains their reasoning in this blog post.

SFWT Paris & TrailheaDX

Salesforce takes the World Tour to Paris, France on June 8, 2017, and the second annual TrailheaDX Salesforce Developer Conference comes to San Francisco on June 28 & 29, 2017.

Forcelandia

Forcelandia, a community led Developer event comes to McMenamin’s Kennedy School in Portland, OR on August 2 & 3, 2017. Forcelandia claims to be a mix of APIs and IPAs and in keeping with their “keep Code Weird” mantra, the venue is a former elementary school converted to a hotel, bar and restaurant.

Midwest Dreamin’

Midwest Dreamin’, now known as the mother of all the Dreamin’ community-led events, returns to Chicago, IL for its fourth year in a row on August 10 & 11, 2017. Midwest Dreamin’ hasn’t announced details yet, but in past years they have featured keynote speakers including Peter Coffee, Vice President, Strategic Research at Salesforce; Erica Kuhl, Vice President, Community at Salesforce; and Vala Afshar, Chief Digital Evangelist at Salesforce.

September through December

Surf Force

Surf Force, a second year, community-led event, is coming to Bundoran, Ireland in September, 2017. Surf Force takes a Salesforce event and combines it with surfing. This video gives you a look at what you missed at Surf Force 2016.

French Touch Dreamin’

French Touch Dreamin’, the first ever, French, community-led Salesforce event for the European Community, comes back for it’s second year in September, 2017. French Touch Dreamin’ was in Paris, France in 2016, and you can see what you missed with this video.

Dreamforce

Dreamforce, the largest technology event of the year, returns to San Francisco on November 6 to 9, 2017, and just like previous Dreamforce events, promises to be inspiring, motivating and educational. Dreamforce has its own channel on YouTube to see what you missed from 2016.

Oz Dreamin’

Oz Dreamin’, the first-ever Australian community-led event was held in Brisbane, Australia on December 7, 2016, and featured a keynote address from Megan Petersen, Senior Principal Success Manager at Salesforce, along with sessions from great community members like Vamsi Krishna and Emily Hay. Follow Oz Dreamin’ on Twitter for updates.
